Mark received his MBA from Ohio State University, with high honors, and a B.A. in Arts and Sciences from Penn State University. He brings over 14 years of cross-functional experience in Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Quality Management and Engineering with Xerox, Dresser Industries, John Deere Consumer Products and as an independent consultant.
At John Deere, Mark managed the $50MM Contractor and Landscape Products Business Segment guiding it through numerous new product launches and line extensions. As a New Business Development Director, Mark successfully performed a best-in-class study, developed strategic plans, and completed a global search and evaluation for a new product partner in the chainsaw market.
Prior to joining John Deere, Mark held several positions at Dresser Industries where he managed a large-scale project to identify new overseas suppliers and designed new business processes. In addition, he was integral to the company’s successful Total Quality Management initiative leading a $2MM cost savings program and was trained and served as an ISO 9000 auditor. Mark received in-depth sales training as a Marketing/Sales Representative at Xerox. |
